Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a written agreement for a small transaction?

A written agreement is strongly advisable. It records the terms and makes them easier to prove if a dispute arises.

What is pre-institution mediation?

Under the Commercial Courts Act, 2015, parties to a commercial dispute generally must attempt mediation before filing a suit, unless urgent interim relief is being sought. We advise on how this applies to your dispute.

Can you review a contract before I sign it?

Yes. Contract review is one of our regular services. We identify risky clauses, missing protections and unclear terms before you commit.
