Our Approach

Frequently Asked Questions
Is arbitration faster than going to court?
It can be, but not always. Arbitration offers flexibility and confidentiality, while speed depends on the parties and the tribunal.
Can an arbitral award be challenged?
Only on limited grounds under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and within a limited time. Courts do not ordinarily reappraise the merits of the dispute.
Is a mediation settlement binding?
A written settlement signed by the parties is binding as an agreement and, in many cases, can be given the force of a court order or decree. We advise on the correct route for your dispute.
